Winner! Charles Rainford secures his first Pro-Am category win in Porsche Carrera Cup GB. After qualifying on pole, Charles had to defend against fierce competition to hold onto his place. With plenty of action in front and behind, Charles drove exceptionally well to come home with the victory. Charles and the team have worked so hard to secure this win in only there second race weekend.

That’s Pro-Am pole position for Charles Rainford at Brands Hatch! As a brand new team and a brand new driver, I’d say that’s pretty good. The learning curve has been steep but we are climbing fast. Getting to grips with the car and the tyre management has been key, plus having a great team of professionals. Race 1 and 2 are tomorrow at 10:35 and 16:00. Let’s keep climbing!

Snetterton – First Porsche Carrera Cup race for Charles Rainford

Charles Rainford’s first race in the Porsche Carrera Cup What a weekend! The first round of the Porsche Carrera Cup GB at Snetterton is over. This was our first opportunity to see how we shaped up against our competition. Charles pace in the car was fantastic all weekend but we were playing catch up on strategy which resulted in a lower grid position than we should have had. On Sunday we were able to dial in our setup to get the most out of the tyres and with quicker lap times in both races Charles was able to push the cars in front and build a gap behind. Charles takes home 9 points and 4th place in the Pro-Am championship standings. The next round is at Brands Hatch, our home circuit. In testing at Brands we topped the times so we are expecting a good result. Be sure to tune in to ITV4 or follow the action on TSL’s live timing.

Donington – Pre-season test for Charles Rainford and CCK Motorsport

Charles Rainford final pre-season test ahead of the 2021 Porsche Carrera Cup GB season took place at Donington Park. Donington’s fast circuit is ideal for pushing a car and getting the setup dialled in for the bigger circuits. We spent the morning working on setup before pushing the car harder in the afternoon. Sadly, a series of red flags from other drivers cut our session short. Next stop is the first Porsche Carrera Cup round at Snetterton.

Porsche Carrera Cup Media Day 2021

Charles tops the time-sheets for Pro-Am at Media Day. Brands Hatch was host the the Porsche Carrera Cup Media day this year. Included in the day were 3 timed test sessions. For the first 2 sessions we worked on the setup. For the 3rd and final session put on a fresh set of tyres and clocked a 46.777. Fastest in the Pro-Am category and 7th fastest overall.
